This paper examines Kabyle symbols by studying how they are used in tattoos and commonplace items manufactured from poetry and weaving, using a socio-anthropological analysis. These symbols carry a shared symbolism, drawn from a common cultural repertoire that transcends borders, fulfilling various functions related to protection, ornamentation, and identity. They play a key role in non-verbal communication within Kabyle culture, revealing deep aspects of society. The aim of the study is to compare the visual characteristics of the symbols, the meanings attributed to them, and to assess the similarities and differences in the functions they serve.
