L’exil et le retour dans l’œuvre artistique de Djamel Allam : Une approche interculturelle
Mots-clés :
cultural elements, cultural incommunicability, exile and return, interculturality, ritual practicesRésumé
Our study explores the themes of exile and return in the artistic work of Kabyle singer Djamel Allam. It examines how he approaches these subjects and the uniqueness of his artistic productions. Additionally, it delves into the distinctive cultural elements of Kabyle culture and their use in a plural and multicultural context. Following the analysis of a corpus of Djamel Allam's songs, the hypothesis that his approach to exile is unique has been confirmed. Indeed, he goes beyond themes of immigration and exile by attempting to universalize them. As for the return, it is experienced as a double cultural incommunicability. To address this, Djamel Allam evokes ritual practices specific to certain Kabyle regions and compares them to those of other regions in Kabylie. This evocation of cultural elements further contributes to intercultural education.
